Location and Driving Distance
The airport is located 7 miles from the Alghero town and also the main airport for Sardinia. Alghero is situated on the north west coast of Sardinia in Italyand the tourist capital of the Coral Riviera. From the SS291 and SP44 roadway is connected to the airport.
Travelling to and from Alghero Airport
By Bus : the bus stand in located outside the terminal with access to the city centre and Piazza della Mercede and vice verse. Bus No.9 operates every half an hour from Alghero Air Terminal to city and vice verse via Cagliari.
By Train : the train station is close to the airport and operates from the Alghero station to Sardinia, Olbia, Sassari and Cagliari.
By Taxi : the taxi stand is located outside the arrivls hall.
By Ferry : the harbour is located 40 kms from Alghero and board a ship in Genova for Porto Torres, cars are available for hire.

Alghero Airport Disabled Facilities
The airport has specially designed facilities which include lifts, ramps, toilets and teleohones. For wheelchair and any other needs the airlines should be informed while purchasing tickets or before travelling to the airport. Designated parking is also available.

Short term and long term parking is available at the airport with drop off and pick up area is located outside the terminal.
