The new terminal of Cagliari Elmas has two levels. The airport’s commercial facilities are being re-organised with improvements in the parking area, transport of disabled passengers and check-in desks.

Travelling to and from Airport

By Bus : the ARST buses operate from airport to ARST bus station in Piazza Matteottiin downtown Cagliari and the tickets should be purchased before boarding the bus. The shuttle bus tickets are also available in the airport’s terminal located in the first floor below the departure area at the Newsstand. At the airport there are two bus stops one outside the departure hall and another outside the arrivals hall. In the city tickets are available with McDonald’s which is linked from the bus station. By Taxi : taxis are available from the airport to hotels charging about 15-18 euros excluding tips.
