About Montpellier
Montpellier is the capital of the Languedoc region of France, and is located in the south of France. Although the city centre is around ten miles from the Mediterranean coast, there is an extensive beach area that falls within the suburbs of Montpellier, and it is a popular destination for people wanting to enjoy a holiday on the French Riviera.
